my friend brought me this game when he came back from Russia as a favor (it was cheaper there, here i got a sh*tload of taxes for everything), but the problem is that its all Russian now and there's no way to change to it to English unless i get the "american.gxt" file.

Upon inspection of the "american.gxt" files of GTA IV and The Lost and Damned, the following songs are found, which suggests they were due to appear in the game but did not make it to the final version.
Find language files inside game folder(english one - american.gxt) and copy file with language what you want on top of the file with language you have.Eg I've copied american.gxt on top of russian.gxt to switch from Russian to English.
Anyone can throw the original files xlive.dll, xlive.cfg and msvcr100.dll from the root folder of the game? Do not ride xliveless necessarily need the original. This is not difficult, pour on the People.
