Nasri; Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Almost at the halfway mark of the 2022-23 season, Arsenal and Manchester City are looking head and shoulders above the rest though Newcastle is not going away and Manchester United has surged into contention.

Kyle Walker-Peters should be fully fit after a recent hamstring issue, while Alex McCarthy remains a doubt and Valentino Livramento and Juan Larios are definitely out. Onuachu and Sulemana should start, while Nathan Jones has favored a 3-5-2 formation in recent weeks so it will be intriguing to see if he persists with that despite fan unrest towards his tactics.

Nasri; Should I Stay or Should I Go

While Manchester City and Manchester United go head to head in the derby on Saturday, Samir Nasri will be preparing for his Sevilla debut against Las Palmas. The talented Frenchman only recently turned 29 and should be at the peak of his career, so what's gone wrong?

With much respect to our young guns, we need some more fire power in the midfield for this season and the consequence of not having it is unthinkable. The young ones should not be expected to shoulder all the burden of seeing us through this season surely. Ideally, they should be integrated into the team seamlessly in a marriage between experience and youth.

With a system which encourages midfielders to be fluid, link quickly and become the attack, Nasri could thrive. He would also be a perfect option should David Silva, Nolito or Kevin De Bruyne need replacing through injury or form.
